Please support our efforts to fill a need of a food shortage for Providence Ministries.  This Saturday, 10am to 4pm, one drop site at Holyoke High School the other at Stop & Shop on Lincoln Street.

The Holyoke Safe Neighborhood Initiative in partnership with Providence Ministries, Holyoke Police Department, Holyoke Fire Department, Hampden County Sheriff’s Department, Hope Worldwide and the Holyoke Public School are holding a Drive Thru Food Drive to support Providence Ministries.  See message below from Providence Ministries.

Help NEEDED:

We are looking for a few community minded, big hearted businesses and people to join the mission of feeding those in great need in our community!  Providence Ministries has seen a dramatic increase in the amount of food being handed out to our friends and neighbors,  and while the need has increased, the donations have not.  Margaret’s Pantry typically gives out a little over a million pounds of food a year, and just this year from January to August are at 1.1 million pounds.

See flyer below and attached for one of two DRIVE Through drop off sites.
