The Holyoke Safe Neighborhood Initiative in partnership with Providence Ministries, Holyoke Police Department, Holyoke Fire Department, Hampden County Sheriff’s Department, Hope Worldwide and the Holyoke Public School are holding a Drive Thru Food Drive to support Providence Ministries.  See message below from Providence Ministries.

Help Wanted:

We are looking for a few community minded, big hearted businesses and people to join the mission of feeding those in great need in our community!  Providence Ministries has seen a dramatic increase in the amount of food being handed out to our friends and neighbors,  and while the need has increased, the donations have not.  Margaret’s Pantry typically gives out a little over a million pounds of food a year, and just this year from January to August are at 1.1 million pounds.

Would you consider hosting an office food drive?  We would be so thankful if you would partner with us in our Drive-Thru Food Drive!  Just collect food and on November 7th anytime from 10am to 4pm you can drive your donations to Holyoke High School and we will unload your car or truck! We will have a second drop location in the parking lot of Stop and Shop on 28 Lincoln Street in Holyoke.

We will practice social distancing with No contact, but great exposure, as we will be honored to shout out your efforts on Social Media!  Please print out the attached flyer and lets start collecting together and be love in action to those who need in great need this holiday season!

If you need a box for your agency to collect staff donations, please send an email to Ed Caisse at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call me at (413) 858-0225.
